I visited here after attended a yelp event recently and wow it’s amazing. David is super nice and a wonderful tarot reader. I love how big the store is. Huge crystal, candle and incense stock. I took my daughter and we both got new incense burners, candles and figures. I like how the store is broken up between sections to help narrow down what you need. They even have a kid section. I will definitely be coming back for new supplies.

What a gem! This very large, well laid out store has everything you need for gifts, crystals and metaphysical items. Staff is attentive and kind. I brought my two year old nephew in who is obsessed with rocks and crystals. He was welcomed by the very kind staff. There’s even a small children’s section where he found a new dragon friend. They also offer a customer loyalty program that rewards you the more you shop. I’ve never had that at my previous metaphysical shops! I realized how quickly my spending adds up If you are in the Atlanta area, make sure you stop by this truly special store.

Phoenix Dragon book store, is my new hidden gem for my incense, candles, herbal books, and crystals.The peaceful ambiance and welcoming energy of the store added to the overall enchanting, fairy tale story book atmosphere. I love how the store is arranged. The staff is always nice and helpful with any everything. Not to mention they have some beautiful fat cats roaming the store. Note: if your allergic to cats, please avoid this store. But overall Phoenix Dragon doesn’t disappoint if your looking for anything and everything spiritual, histories or just mystical. Yes! What a purposeful & enlightening emporium serving as a bookstore, retail store, library & marketplace within a calming flow environment. My Bonus Daughter shops here often & raves about P&DB. On a last-minute visit, she brought me along with her & it was pure transformational energy for me. Regardless of your personal voyages, this store offers something for everyone to embrace & illuminate along the way – altars, divination systems, pendulums, statues, cards, cloths, Incenses & much more. Jillian, the employee who assisted me (you know I like Q&As) is highly knowledgeable about the store’s inventory. Not to mention her contagious vibe & aurora naturally elucidated throughout the store & adding to the atmosphere. Not only a wonderful retail experience, yet one could be in tune with different parameters outside of human sense perception/material reality. The friendliest staff ever! I really enjoy coming here. Everyone is so knowledgeable on the services and products that they have to offer. I have come here a few times within the past 8 years, and I have found much peace and self-respect from the abundant access of healing books. This store is a blessing in the universe. There is such an open, wide variety of spiritual perspective which I am deeply appreciative of because this store allows us to look at the world in all different colors, unlike other “crystal stores” that typically push one way of life or perspective. When you walk into the store, the air always feels light and serine. The vibes are immaculate. Sometimes I see cats hanging around the store, and I really like that.

I love this place! For me there’s a calming effect and a positive vibe in this store. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable, and are eager to assist. This is not a regular bookstore; It’s a retail store full of items that people can use every day to help celebrate the human spirit.I came here on a Saturday afternoon in mid-November to just look for clear quartz and polished black obsidian, to price sage bundles, and to see what other information I could find about how to keep my energy points in my body open and ways to try to stay positive as much as possible. Parking was an issue when I arrived, but I was lucky enough to find an open space in the free parking lot near the front door of Phoenix and Dragon Bookstore. the outside of the building is looks old and plain, and gives no hint as to what’s inside.There are multiple rooms/areas in the store that feature different items/products. The first room is where a cash register is and this area looks more like a gift shop. The main room has a very large variety of crystals of various sizes, all of them separated by type and size. This is where I looked for large polished black obsidian, but the bin where it should’ve been was empty and they didn’t have any more. I also looked for a couple of clear quartz crystals, but, at the risk of sounding crazy, I didn’t get a clear and positive vibe from any of them. If you’re into crystals and what they can do for you, you’ll know what I mean. One of the most popular uses of black obsidian is to create a shield of protection to ward off negative or harmful energies. Clear quartz is a powerful crystal with a very restorative and amplifying energy. It’s often used with other stones to strengthen their effects, making it a great addition to crystal grids. There are also large selections of essential oils, aromatherapy items, candles, books, herbs and incense, tarot and oracle, gifts, jewelry and knick knacks spread throughout this and the other rooms. I found some sage that I use to purify my condo, and bundles here are less expensive than I’ve found at other similar stores.Oh, and this bookstore has an area outside where classes, such as Goat Yoga, are held when the weather is nice. While yogis do their yoga things, dwarf goats are free to roam wherever they please, and may hop around, climb yogis’ backs, sit on top of them, and even nap on them or their mats while yogis let go of all their stresses. I arrived as the class was breaking upon but there were these cute dwarf goats still walking around on the outdoor deck doing their things.I could actually spend a lot of time in this store. Just be aware that there are at least two very chill cats that roam and laze wherever they please, since this is their domain. It looks like they just have one speed, ALOOF, and remain that way, even when customers lavish a lot of attention on them. I love this store and many of the things it has to offer – helpful and welcoming employees, positive vibe, nice and clean store, and good prices.

I’m happy for most people who have had a great experience. I have talked with her a few times over the years & I really feel nothing has come true. I feel she just made up something that was supposed to happen this year. I get that this is entertainment but some people call for help & guidance for a reason. Nothing what so ever has come true especially the real reason I choose to write this review today. I did have one thing she told me about in the beginning partially come true but nothing to the degree she told me it would. I feel this major important thing I was told about by her was just made up. She insisted what she was telling me was going to happen & not to worry, she gave me dates. She is very nice & will make you feel good but don’t get caught up in what she says, take it with a grain of salt or just don’t waste your money. I’m a little disappointed.

Completely money motivated and not interested in helping her clients ( despite the fact that I’ve paid over $16000) for readings to support her over the years. I paid for $75 reading only to be given one worth $70. She also falsely accused me of not paying for a previous reading, despite the fact that she doesn’t accept future readings of previous readings aren’t paid for. Completely over the top and terribly rude attitude. Additionally, she owes me outstanding money for services that weren’t fully rendered, which she refuses to pay.

My recent reading with Trey was very helpful. He used tarot cards for focus, but he was able to intuitively see where I had just been in my life, the present focus, and the near future. His understanding of my life at a basic level was very accurate, as was his advice for moving into the near future. He keeps things down to earth, offers sensible feedback, and doesn’t get stuck in the weeds or mired in unnecessary details. History: Forever And A Day began in 2017 as an on-line business. After several years we rented space in a local consignment shop selling both used and new items. We starting getting emails and questions about where our “Main Store” was, which led us to make the decision to open a store. We searched and found the building we are in and bought in 2009. After a lengthy remodel project, Forever And A Day opened our doors on February 26, 2010. We have never looked back! In May 2014 and May 2015 we produced “The Awakened Spirit Expo” in Atlanta. In Feb 2015 we hosted Lee Carroll “Kryon” in Atlanta. November 2018 we expanded the store with a new massage/reiki room, new reader room and a 450sq ft Salt Cave offering Halotherapy. This is such a fun shop! I love coming here with my sister and friends!I try not to come too often though, because I seriously want everything in the store!! The store has a wonderful inventory & very decent prices. The workers are so very kind.

I had an amazing salt therapy session at Forever & A Day in their salt cave. It was 45 minutes of true bliss and the most amazing nap I’ve had in a long time. The addition of soft music playing in the background helped relax me even more. The temperature is set to 68 degrees for the duration of the session so if you are someone who gets cold easily I highly recommend using 2 blankets like I did. The cave can fit up to 8 people at a time, but luckily I had the entire cave to myself. I left feeling so relaxed and like I could breathe much easier. I will definitely be returning for another session in the near future. After my session I walked around the store there were lots of nice items.

Wow! First time visiting this store and I will be frequenting this amazing and inviting place! Staff was extremely friendly, inviting, and knowledgeable! They offer classes and have everything you could need for your spiritual journey! The lovely lady who helped me (can’t recall her name, shame on me.) But she was extremely helpful and guided me to other similar stores in the area! So if you’re looking for somewhere to find yourself or find tools to guide yourself this is a great little gem in the area! A MUST CHECK OUT ATMOSPHERE!!!!! I like this place since it’s in my neighborhood. However I don’t feel you should have the spend $10 to use your debit card. I usually only really need ritual candles which are .50 and I hate I have to spend more money to be able to purchase them. I feel they should change this. It seems it’s just a way to make people spend more since covid is hurting businesses. They also don’t have a large selection of candles and their herbs just have the name no explanation of what they can be used for.

Although I usually only frequent this place for incense, their employees are always helpful, kind, and respectful. The place is always very clean and well organized, not to mention they’re the only local place that has the loose incense in the brand I love. Absolutely in love with this store!. The owners are to die for and super sweet . Sherry has a heart of gold and has really set the bar for other metaphysical stores for me. Forever And A Day is welcoming .. you don’t get that weird vibe when entering . They have everything you could ever want from crystals to books…candles .. readings and jewelry. They are are preparing to expand and have salt caves there now ! I am totally looking forward to relaxing there . They also have monthly psychic fairs .. the psychic fairs offer you a chance to get a discounted reading .. massage .. see different vendors in our area and ofcourse just socialize . I really enjoy this place and it’s environment. The people of the shop are really nice and helpful with anything and always allow you to look at items that in the cases. By far one of the most cleansed and inviting new age stores. Very positive vibes. The place is a bit pricey for some items, but still have good price points. Also have good experiences and find items that are enjoyable. One of the best shop to go visit and buy. There are items I would like to suggest such as having more certain inscents be in a package type. But have good selection. There are also essential oils. Assortments of Egyptian, Buddhist, etc statues and items. A wide variety of certain stones and books. They also now have a larger selection of tarot cards including Raider Waire decks. Also a variety of oracle cards. A really nice shop overall

DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON OR LIVING SOCIAL VOUCHER!!!I incorrectly thought that the voucher included a reading and a bracelet for each day of the fair, a total of 2 bracelets and 2 readings; however, it’s only one reading and one bracelet on one day, which is expensive for $28. You’d do better to show up and pay $15 for one reading or $25 for 2 readings.There’s no admission fee. You simply come in, read the bios of the psychics and put your name on an open time slot for the psychic you want. Let me preface this by saying that I do believe in psychics. I’ve had two good psychic readings. My litmus test for a psychic is whether or not they can say something specific about something going on in my life without me divulging anything. In the two previous times I went to psychics, both told me specific things about who I was dating and specific issues with specific family members before I opened my mouth.At the Big Psychic Fair, I eavesdropped on some readings while waiting for mine. I heard a lot of people talking to the psychics about their issues at the beginning of the reading, which I feel tells your psychic what to say to you, rather than relying on any inherent psychic ability. My reading was with Shelia Harris, who used numerology, palmistry, and playing cards. She asked for my birthday, and then did a cold reading. She said that I like to travel but sometimes stay in, and that I’m a loner. I can be alone for long periods without it bothering me, but I also like to be around people. She also said that I’m psychic and very erotic. After looking at my palms, she said that I’ve had a very hard childhood (true). I’m close to my family (not true). I’m very psychic and my dreams sometimes come true (debatable, I wouldn’t charge someone for a reading.). I’m an empath, and I can pick up on other’s feelings (true, but I think everyone has this ability to some capacity). I’m an old soul, and I’ve had many lifetimes, and I’m surrounded by many angels (ok, cool!). She also said that I have 3-4 kids, which may include abortions, miscarriages, or stepchildren (I’ve never been pregnant, but there’s still time, and I do want kids.), and I’ll have 4 major loves in my life (1 down…).I had an extremely hard time not giving nonverbal cues. I found myself shaking my head at things that weren’t true and nodding at things that were. She kept repeating the things that I nodded at.Next, she asked me to think about 3 questions. I shuffled cards while thinking about one question. She laid out playing cards, and asked me about my first question. It was about how to have a better relationship with my mother. She told me that there’s a lot of anger, and I need to talk with her (ok, but that’s kinda obvious if there’s an issue). She also said my mom’s psychic (Mom would love that). I wanted more specifics, such as the cause of the anger, but I didn’t ask the right question. I asked what I should say, and she told me to pray and the angels would help me.I shuffled the cards again with another question in mind, which dealt with finding love. She said that I would meet a business man in a crowd or around work. I missed my opportunity in the last reading, but I asked for specifics in this one. What would he look like? She said that she thinks he would be tall with dark hair and eyes, but she just knows that he’s a business man. She said that I’ve had heartbreak that I’m not over. When I told her that it wasn’t true, she said that it must be the guy she sees in my future. She also said that a family member has passed. Again, When I told her that it wasn’t true, she said that it must be the guy she sees in my future. I asked about when I would meet him, and she said that timing is hard, but it’d be sometime before the end of the year. Hopefully, I will get booed up by the end of this year. If I do, I’ll definitely update with the info.Overall, she used a lot of cold and hot reading techniques. There were only generalities, and no specifics. I should’ve ended it when I noticed that she was using cold reading, but when she switched to palmistry, and then, took out the cards, I kept expecting something more concrete and specific. By the time I realized it wasn’t going to happen, the 20 min was over. I was very disappointed with the reading. She rushed off before I could say anything to her. I could’ve complained to Gloria Parker, the host, but I felt like it would’ve been a waste of time, and it’s much easier to leave this review as a warning to others.

So, if you believe in this sort of thing, as I do, mark your calendars for the first weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) of the month. Every month The Big Psychic Fair is held in a small, old, building in the downtown Roswell area. There are roughly 15 psychics and you read a little bio about each one and then sign up to see whomever you connect with or want to learn from. Each session is 20 minutes long, which flys by! By 1 session for $15 or 2 for $25. These are psychics, mediums, can hear from those who have passed, tarot card readers. A wide variety! Upstairs you’ll find a few stands for shopping. A table with metals to help ward off radiation and help you center your energy. Candles. Etc. I can’t wait to go again next month!*Update: it’s been 9 months since I wrote this review and 3 of the things I was told have come true.

I love this event and go every month! They have psychics, Palm readers, card readers, vendors that sell everything from hand made essential oil soaps to incredible stones and jewelry! They also have amazing healers and body workers that you can see while you are waiting for your readings!

If you have an open mind or you are into this type of thing this is the place for you. There is a woman from England named Katie she usually sits in the back. She is spot on. She knew things about my mother that nobody in that room knew about and there’s no way she could’ve known unless my mum was channeling her. I also went to a gentleman named Vincent who reads Tarot cards. He too was very amazing. I want to a woman who is a Pet psychic. Forgive me I believe her name is Carolyn and she was not accurate at all. Nothing that she said about my Babies was even remotely, closely true. So if you see a Pet psychic basically enter at own risk. I have recently been told that former Pets May cross with One Another however she does not tell you this in advance so I will not be seeing her anymore. There is a gentleman named Beau Who does past life regressions. This is always been very interesting to me and while it is only a 10 minute visit he does actually do one on one for an hour where he literally puts you in a trance. I have not done that yet but I would like to do that I believe it cost $75-$100 to do that. But at the big psychic fair you can also Groupon to get a good deal. It is fun and as I said you must have an open mind if this is not your sort of thing. My friend Judy and I always enjoy our self whenever we go and we try to go as often as possible. We took your niece Vickie wants and she had a great time and she’s a very big skeptic as well. I gave it three stars because you must get there early to get your name on the list or you will be waiting a long time to see anybody so be there as soon as they open to put your name on the list. The other bad thing is that some people are friends with these people and they can call ahead and get put on the schedule without even being there. Us regular folk can’t do that

I’m not into the whole crystals and rocks have powers thing but even still this place is pretty cool.Lots of great polished stones and crystals that are all labeled with their names and what they are supposed to do. Man I have to start looking for some rocks on my walks… these things are expensive!In the back corner they have spell books, tarot cards, and all kinds of interesting books. They even do readings here if you are interested in that kind of thing.I’m a pretty big skeptic but the place was interesting at least. (I did buy some rocks and crystals for my boys though… what could it hurt?)

My family and I came to ponce Markey as we toured local businesses and shops.We grabbed lunch and came across this beautiful shop.Ambiance:Instantly, you can smell a calming aroma and are drawn to crystals EVERYWHERE of every kind.Price:It’s very budget friendly if you want to get small items but also has prices more unique gifts too. Variety:There are ritual kits and polishes and such unique mystical based tools and items.It’s pretty cool that they offer rmtarot readings and have the largest assortment of tarot card options I’ve ever seen!Staff:The employees were beyond nice, and willing to answer questions as well as helpful when it came to providing options. Although I’m not close in range, I can’t wait to continue supporting this shop through their online site!

This is a metaphysical shop with curated candles, sages, crystals, and books. Packed with customers, this was clearly a popular booth to visit in Ponce Market. Parking was difficult to find and navigate. She shop was a little difficult to locate upon arrival as well. The staff was friendly and allowed us time and room to browse their color-sorted displays. It’s a small store, but they had some unique products and crystals. Their prices were very steep; however, we found some unique crystals for ourselves and gifts for friends. It is a true gem of Atlanta.

I went into Modern Mystic Shop specifically for three things and found all of them at reasonable prices, so I bought them after looking at most of the items throughout the store.Modern Mystic Shop is on the second floor of the main building at Ponce City Market. It’s a small shop, and can easily be overlooked as customers walk on by. There is a modern and welcoming feel to the store. I found that the employees were very welcoming too, as I was immediately greeted by employees who asked if they could help me find anything. I initially said that I was looking, but, later, I asked where white sage smudge sticks were and she showed me where they were near the entrance. While looking at the the smudge sticks, I picked out a white sage smudge stick, and, noticing there were turkey feathers and abalone shells, I also picked out one of each and bought them so I could purify my condo and rid it of negativity.There are many items in this store that can help improve your life, health, mental state, etc., such as candles, stones, crystals, books and incense, among others.Days after I bought the smudge stick, feather and abalone, I used them to cleanse my condo, myself, and, since he was there while I was performing this process, I also cleansed R. He normally complains about scents, especially ones produced from burning something, but he actually said that the burnt white sage smell was nice. Mission accomplished! Lol.

Be mindful of checkout gimmicks: there is a good chance that the price you are actually charged will not match what you saw on the shelf. Since they do not hand out paper receipts, they will get away with it. There are better venues in Atlanta with more transparent business practices.

I’m not into crystals, Tarot, astrology or any of that woo woo stuff, but if Kyrie Irving is saging arenas before he steps onto the basketball court maybe there’s something to it? Ok, bad example, but whether you’re a Muggle or an advanced wizard Modern Mystic Shop is well worth at least a few minutes of exploration.Located in Ponce City Market, Modern Mystic is a one stop shop for all things magical, mystical, and metaphysical. To my great surprise, besides food, Atlanta is a VERY difficult city when it comes to picking up gifts and souvenirs to bring back home. After a few days of searching far and wide, I found myself back on Ponce De Leon Avenue looking for something unique but not kitschy to carry with me back to LA. After exhausting seemingly all the shops, I grudgingly entered… only to find myself enlightened, amazed, and even educated.Not only does Modern Mystic carry Tarot card decks, books on the metaphysical, and crystals that correspond to the colors of the rainbow, she also carries locally made handcrafts, jewelry, special stones, and yes, sage to equip every “Modern Mystic” with the means to reframe and reorient their own lives. The entire store is stylishly appointed and carefully curated, with friendly and helpful store associates to answer even the random questions of a confirmed skeptic.I don’t know about Atlanta, but typically places like this in Los Angeles and New York are kinda janky, with the smell of incense and patchouli everywhere. I can’t remember a distinct smell to Modern Mystic, but if there was anything it was probably light and fragrant. Apparently their candles, oils, and sprays not only ward off evil spirits but bad odors as well! With how badly 2020 went, I’m sure you’d agree, we need all the help we can get in this new year! If you’re in ATL and are in need of a magical assist, or even just a novel gift to give someone special, make sure you stop by Modern Mystic!

I’ve been shopping online with Modern Mystic for a few years. They’ve got awesome products and beautiful specimens at great prices. Seeing these gorgeous pieces I’ve stalked online in person was both great and horrible! I wanted everything!!! I was so happy to buy a slab I’ve been interested in for a quite some time. Definitely recommend this shop. Their protection and cleansing sprays are wonderful, as are their candles, hand sanitizer, and spell kits. Highly recommend. One of my favorite stores.

Tiffany is wonderful this is my 1st time and want be my last time. I was referred to her by a friend I was so nervous because you hear so many bad things about psychic and I said the only way I was going to one is if someone I knew went and had great feedback and I must say u will NOT be disappointed she make she you is comfortable and understanding what she is communicating to you she want u to be able to ask question so she can give you a better understanding, her prices are $35 $45 and $65there isn’t really like a time thing you get what you pay for and when everything she feels has been communicated on friendship, past, present, future, and love life then your session has been completed I paid $45 for like 30ish min if not more maybe 45 don’t know really wasn’t paying attention to time.

If you want her to take away all your money, then this is the place to go. She will try everything to gain your trust, especially when your extremely venerable. She took over 2,000 dollars from me. Yes, it was my stupidity that caused me to trust her. Yet, I don’t want someone else to fall into her lies. I remember calling and texting her multiple times and she would only respond when she need more money, otherwise she would ignore me. I beg you, don’t give this lady a cent of your money. She’ll make you feel like with her help you can have everything you have ever wanted, but in reality she takes everything away from you. However, since I have stopped going to her, I found true peace within myself without her. Don’t go to her. She doesn’t deserve your money.

The first reading she gave me gained my trust because it all sounded legit. I came back to ask to her to ask a question because her phones weren’t working. She talked me into getting a “spiritual healing” package which would cost 300 bucks, I didn’t know but she told me I was cursed and I gave in like a sucker, and thought it might be beneficial since I’d get to come see her whenever I wanted to as part of the package. Well, she wasn’t there half the time I’d come by WITH AN APPOINTMENT. It was very unprofessional. Then, it gets worse, she had the nerve to ask me to pay 300 bucks for a fake bed to do some voodoo magic to make my ex boyfriend come back to me. She took advantage of the fact I bought a new car and I was vulnerable. She asked me a lot of questions and rarely told me anything beneficial or cleared any curse. She kept putting off the crystal that my money apparently paid for…she was wishy- washy and unreliable and I never got the crystal I paid for. She kept pressuring me to buy this bed….to put me and my ex in “spiritual”, a bed that would stay at her house. She didn’t help me but made me feel worse by taking advantage of my trust she gained by her first reading. Looking back I realized she was guessing about most things that had already happened. Actually, her prediction that my ex would come back to me in May never happened! She made me feel bad about not giving her money for the bed, whining that she’d been up late at night helping remove the curse. She wasn’t there half the time and never gave me a crystal I paid for. I felt stupid.

It is such a pleasure to work with Jan. She brings great ideas to the table. She has been a hit at several non profit events, where I sit on the board, and I was proud of the level of professionalism and I loved watching the excitement and engagement of the attendees. Jan thinks outside the box to really make your event experience unique.

Jan and team are absolute professionals. We were looking for unique entertainment ideas for our wedding and came across Handy Entertainment. We did an hour of lip print readings and an hour of tea leaf readings, and we probably should have booked them for the entire night. The guests LOVED every minute. I would imagine they are great for any event because everything was so customizable. Jan took special care with all the details to make sure everything matched our vision and style. Honestly, we’re trying to figure out what party is coming up next that we could book her for! 5 stars, without a doubt!

We had the BEST experience with Jan at Handy Entertainment! Kids ages 12-19 at our event loved her and I cannot wait to have her at future events! Next time with adults!! What a fun experience for a party!!

A palm reader at a salon party? No way! I met Naja as she was reading palms at a party I attended. She was patient, warm and professional, despite the fact that the line to meet her was down the hall!Her service was definitely one of the highlights of the event. She was the conversation piece for the evening. I would definitely recommend her services and can’t wait to hire her for my own parties.

Great evening with Jan the fortune teller! I used her for a corporate event I was hosting and she blew everyone away. Very professional, entertaining, and stayed late to accommodate as she was the hit of the party. She fits in well and is easy to work with. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Handy Entertainment for our son’s bar mitzvah. We booked Naja the fortune teller to do lip readings and palm readings, and a photo booth as well. I had seen Naja before so I knew she would be great (and she was) but what I didn’t expect was incredible full service in helping me think through the entire theme and flow of the event. Jan had great ideas about color scheme, placement, and helped to personalize every aspect of the event. She worked with on costume, accessories, etc and had practical suggestions that covered every little detail. Both the adults and the teens loved her readings! I very highly recommend Handy Entertainment for any type of event–you will have fun, and everything will look great and add great atmosphere!

Naja entertained at a friend’s 50th birthday party, and she was a hit! I have since been at several parties where Naja was present, and in all cases she is wildly popular. She spends significant, meaningful time with each reading, and leaves people feeling good. And her costumes are fabulous!
