My experience with Jen is only beginning. She was very precise with my reading I sat down and didn’t say a word, she answered so many of my questions with so much care and compassion. She is a master teacher at best. I checked out the website and thought it was great but I was still hesitant. At the bottom there’s a line that says if skeptical text for a free question. I texted a greeting and got a quick response telling me to ask away. Once I asked my question I was told to call in 20 min… I called no answer so I left a voicemail. Then later texted again asking what a good time was to call… no answer and no returned call. I called AGAIN the next day … no answer!! And this was for a free question so at this point I don’t want to even think about the customer service if I were to actually go in person I’m glad I was skeptical and followed my gut to try it out via text first

While on a short vacation in late November, I stopped in here and finally found exactly what I had been looking for for the six previous weeks: four small, and one medium polished black obsidian stones, and one small clear quartz tower. Obsidian has properties that ward off negativity energy, and can be a powerful anchor in keeping people grounded. Clear quartz has also been used as a shield against negative energy and provides positive energy. It is believed to have positive mental and emotional healing properties, and can stimulate the immune system, among other things.There was a free graveled parking lot behind Cosmic Connections, which looks like a converted older home. The entrance to the store is in the front. This store is on the first floor, and I felt a calmness upon entering through the door. The employees are very attentive, and one of them warmly greeted us as we walked in. She told us the main items that were in each room, so to give us a general lay of the land. She asked if there was anything specifically that she could help us with, and I told her that we were just looking, for now. with that, she told us that any of the employees would be able to help us if we needed assistance.We walked around through every room, and at least one employee in each of the rooms (4) came to us and asked if we needed help finding anything. I asked about black obsidian and clear quartz crystals, and I was shown items in two different rooms. I liked that I was shopping in person, rather than shopping via online, because I can personally see the crystals and get a good idea of whether or not those are actually the ones for me.The prices I paid were very good! This store has a good variety of crystals, incense, books, candles, soaps, oils, books and many other items for your metaphysical needs. I will be coming back for sure the next time I’m in Nashville.

Shoutout for the absolute best COVID protocol I’ve encountered in a year! Cosmic Connections is a small space brimming with product, so they’ve been very careful to minimize risk by implementing a waiting list and shop by appointment. I arrived and waited in the lobby until several customers finished shopping, and I was asked wash my hands before I started browsing and to maintain appropriate distance from others and of course wear a mask while shopping. Rules were enforced regularly and kindly with all customers. Now to the fun stuff: the SELECTION. I can’t imagine many needs that wouldn’t be met by the stock here. Candles, oils, incense of many varieties and with tons of accessories for different kinds (stick, cone, herb, etc.), massive selection of crystals, jewelry, tarot and oracle cards, and any manner of books and guides for various practices. I was there with a relatively specific purpose so I didn’t browse as extensively as I could have, but I was pleasantly surprised by all the options.So happy to support this local shop, and they make it easy with a rewards program. I got 20% off my whole purchase on the same day I signed up by following their social media and providing my birthday. Will absolutely be browsing here before I head to an Internet big-box store for spiritual and magical supplies.

Let me start off by saying that I am a HUGE gemstone enthusiast. I’ve been collecting rocks and gems since I was a little kid, and love any excuse to browse collections of gemstones. Cosmic connections quite literally felt like being a little kid let loose in a candy store, but times a million. I had an employee at Pangea recommend Cosmic connections to me a month or so ago after purchasing a amethyst stone from them and have been meaning to stop by ever since. I quite literally could’ve spent a whole day in there. Unbelievable selection of such a broad range of gemstones, rocks, incense, books, everything under the sun. I spent a good while browsing all the different types of rare stones they had and was really in awe of the quality and variety they provided. My only qualm is that most of the items in the store are fairly expensive (I.e. some of the more rare palmstones were upwards of $100). I couldn’t justify dropping that kind of dough on my grad student budget, but if I ever had a lot of money to blow, I would literally buy out the store. Absolutely check this out!

Great selection of Crystals. We came here after visiting Nashville Crystal store via a Yelp recommendation on the reasonable prices compared to Nashville Crystal. Cosmic Crystal has many more small stone options at very reasonable prices. Some even under $3. Great for making necklaces. I also recommend that you sign up for their rewards program online before checking out as you will receive a discount on your first purchase. I heard them telling the person in front of me, so signed up quickly on my phone while in line. They also have parking available behind the store as well.

Fantastic shop! Such a nice group of ladies working it. So many quaint rooms with everything your spiritual could heart desire. So peaceful. They even have a resident 19 year old cat living and greeting you there! We all think the crystals and rocks are keeping her eternally living and that’s why she hated not being there during the onset of Covid. The woman who checked us out was so kind and lovely after asking about how my son passed. My daughter in law and I will be back whenever we can road trip it through Nashville. AND you can shop online and have it delivered! Yay for us!!

It was amazing, the reader took her time and made sure all my questions were answered. She was personable and thoughtful. I returned to the Goddess and the Moon for Reiki after a rollerblading accident and the energy healer took a generous amount of time working on me, explaining the process and discussing what happened during the reading afterwards. I felt amazing after my healing with virtually no pain!I will certainly be returning to the Goddess and the Moon!

I have to admit, I was a bit on the fence when I decided on a whim to go get a tarot reading at this cozy spot right by my house. I’d never had one and had always been curious.Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, and they only take tips for the coffee – and it was yummy!Going into the tarot reading I didn’t tell her ANYTHING about myself whatsoever, (I’ve heard that a lot of tarot readers try asking you a lot of questions before hand and that’s how they do their reading, but she didn’t do that at all. ) I just wanted to see what the cards said, and I will just say that the 30 minutes or so that I was back there gave me goosebumps. The things she told me were spot-on. I will definitely be going back.

I had never been to a psychic and I thought that Tish was great. She was very spot on and she didn’t walk on eggshells. She gave you the truth and didn’t hold back. Which I thought was refreshing. I love new age and metaphysical shops, and it is a dream of mine to open such a business one day. However, I would not likely model it after Goddess and the Moon. I was really looking forward to visiting the place, but was highly disappointed! First of all, the staff barely acknowledged my presence when I walked in, they just sort of smiled, but never asked how I was or if I needed any help finding anything… even though I was the ONLY person in the tiny store. The lighting was so low and dark, I could barely see anything and had to squint my eyes to read. The selection was greatly lacking and there is really nothing there as far as actual merchandise. What products they do have for sale is set up really oddly so that it’s hard to get through the store or find things. Stuff was also really overpriced. :(Although I can’t vouch for it, I suppose it would be an okay place to go for readings/healing/etc… However, as far as crystals, jewelry, books, etc., there are far better shops in the city.

Came to town for a weekend getaway and I was really excited to visit this shop. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door that said they were doing readings and would reopen in 30 minutes. I came back an hour later and saw two other women walking in. I try to go inside and the door was locked. Confused, I stood there for a moment while a blonde woman inside just stared at me. I’m about to turn around when she opens the door and lets me in. She says that all the staff were in back and she didn’t know what to tell me. A brunette woman walked up front just announces to everyone in the room, “I’m doing readings.” She seemed irritated that she had customers. I told her I was from out of town and just wanted to shop, the other two customers desired hot tea. She didn’t respond to any of us, just stood there with an unpleasant look on her face. I asked her if she wanted us to leave and she said nothing, just scowled. I suddenly just wanted to get the hell out of there and left with all the other customers right behind me. If you’re closed or busy, then just say so. I would have been understanding. Attitude isn’t necessary. Allow me to divine your future, Goddess and The Moon: Out of Business if you continue to treat customers with such rudeness and ridiculous mind games. Obviously karma is of no concern to you.

What a great experience at Sanctuary Light and Energy! The owner has created a very warm and inviting space. She is friendly, engaging, and instantly made me feel comfortable. The session began with some basic information on reiki and a time to address any questions or concerns. After smudging, we proceeded to meditate – promoting relaxation and better receptivity to the upcoming reiki session. This was one of my favorite portions of the experience. I felt incredibly relaxed afterwards. It was guided meditation but she did not rush me and allowed me to go at my own pace. The reiki session was comforting and peaceful. Because reiki uses hand placements instead of massage or manipulation, there was no awkwardness or uneasiness or concern regarding appropriate amount of pressure. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end! Even if you don’t practice reiki, it’s a great opportunity to unwind, relax, reenergize, and focus on the positive. I would definitely recommend Sanctuary Light and Energy.

A trip is not complete unless one gets their tarot cards and/or palms read. Just kidding! But I am not kidding about getting both read for my first time. Why not see what the future holds for me?!?For the past two decades, I have been going back and forth when if comes to belief. It can be so easy for a person to make vague allegations, while the customer holds onto every word and tries to see how it relates to him/her. I could be wrong, but this lady was no joke!! She was specific enough when she did my readings and I was like, “Holy C***!!,” on the inside. Was she off on a few things? Sure. Am I going to be very receptive and reflective when it comes to my life for the next six months? Heck, yeah!

Let me start with a DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I was there for a total of maybe 5 minutes and she charged me $90. Completely fake, didn’t resonate with me, and was very seedy. Customer service was awful, she was unenthusiastic and seemed distracted. Honestly zero stars do not go here.

First, let me say that I frequent metaphysical shops and psychic services. You might say I am a connoisseur of karma… an afterlife aficionado, if you will. Regardless, I know when a psychic service is quality and when it is an absolute abomination. My experience at The Psychic Shop aligns with the latter as if the two phrases were interchangeable. Now before, proceeding, please bear in mind, I do not often make a fuss and, in fact, I created a Yelp account for the sole purpose of airing my feelings about my experience at this company. It was THAT horrid. I stopped by The Psychic Shop to receive a palm reading from Sabrina. No amount of prefacing of “it is impossible to give a 100% accurate reading” could justify the incredibly vague and totally inaccurate waste of time and money that I received. To begin, it was $60 for a 15 minute reading. I did not receive 15 minutes of service. In fact, my servicer seemed to have run out of ideas to throw out after about 5 minutes so she began recycling the same ideas in slightly different wording. As for the reading itself, I could have received more insight about my life from the back of a cereal box- with little to no exaggeration. For those who may be skimming reviews, you may notice commonalities between readings of reviewers. That’s because they’re virtually the same generic lines that that this company uses to prey on those who are naïve enough to believe that they are the real deal. My reading is as follows: You will live a long life and have a couple of children. You will have good news in March, April, or May. I was asked if twins run in my family. Nope. I was asked about my husband. No husband. I asked about what the good news would be in those months…. “positive energy.” I truly believe that I paid $60 for a fortune cookie. Not to mention, I was being given a palm reading and she didn’t look at my palms.To close, I was told that I should not tell anyone about this reading for the next few days or it may not be as accurate. Given that not a single thing was accurate, I am hoping that me airing all of this out about 30 minutes after receiving this reading will cancel out the bad juju like PEMDAS and something positive might come out of this dumpster fire. And here’s the kicker…. my brother got a reading too! We were both told not to speak of our readings… and you know why? BECAUSE THEY WERE THE SAME. To conclude, this is a scam. Don’t waste your money. And to the owner who will inevitably write back and offer a reading to make up for the poor experience- I don’t want a reading. However, I would love a refund for the collective $120 that my brother and I spent for the 10 minute practiced monologue. Thanks 🙂

I’m honestly heartbroken because I was so excited for this as I really needed some clarity within my life.. everything I was told resonated with me and I was ecstatic and so happy. Until now when I went to go leave a review here and saw that my exact reading has been told over and over same details LIKE A SCRIPT. I was basically scammed of $90 and that hurts my souls because I thought she was legit. I just called her and explained this to her and ask why so many people have my story and she couldn’t even give me a solid answer. I’m so upset, truly.

DO NOT go here unless you wish to look like an absolute fool this woman conned me and my friend, she robbed us of $60 each (so $120) for a palm reading. This woman told my friend to wait outside while she “read” my palms because for some reason we couldn’t be in the same room even though we came together, she didn’t even look at my palms, to begin with, and she just rehearsed the EXACT same lines to both me and my friend and I wonder how much more gullible people she has performed this trick on since she mentioned that her shop had been open for 50 years. Also, she told us to keep the readings to ourselves for 3 days exact or else it wouldn’t be true, but in reality, all she did was scam us, and if I could give this place 0 stars I would gladly do so.

I can’t believe this woman is still in business. Hopefully you’re one of the lucky ones who decided to look this place up on Yelp first, and not one of the unfortunate ones who got totally scammed! Not only did this woman sound like she was reading from a script, but at one point her cell phone vibrated, and she actually checked her text message WHILE she was supposedly reading my palm. Ridiculous.Tell you what, why don’t I save you the trip and the money and tell you what she’ll probably charge you $25-$40 to tell you: You’re a warm person with a good heart. You will live until around 80/85 years, and be very healthy. You’re a positive person, but have a lot of negative thoughts about yourself. Last year was not a very good one, and there was a lot of drama, but there’s going to be a big change around April. You will meet your soul mate in a crowded area, like a movie theater, concert venue, or mall. You will have twins, a boy and a girl. You will travel to either Florida or California sometime in the next year or so. See? I can be a psychic too. And I didn’t charge you a penny.

DO NOT give this woman your money. She completely scammed my friends and me. She gave us a “great” deal of $25/palm if all three of us got the reading. She said the reading had to be done in private, and afterwards we weren’t to talk about what she said, or else our supposed future wouldn’t come true. She told us all the EXACT same thing. And it sounds like she’d been using that same script for years, since what Stefani wrote below is exactly what she said to us. I can’t believe this woman gets away with it.

My friends and I thought it would be fun to have a psychic reading while visiting Nashville. The psychic, Christine, gave us a deal (so she said) $25 for each person for one palm. She told me everything Allison H. said to the T. At the end of the reading she gave me her card which had her name listed as Elaine. Christine, Elaine, whatever your name is- get your act together. At least make up some interesting stories that are DIFFERENT if you know that you’re reading people who are friends. Our experience was so ridiculous she ruined the whole phsychic experience for us. I hope karma gets her and quick before too many innocent people get scammed.

I felt compelled to write this even though I typically am not a review writer. I was in Nashville last weekend with my 4 other girlfriends. We wanted to do something different, and since one of us has gotten good results from a past reading we decided to give psychic shop a try. The lady told us not talk about our results for at least 3 days and there was obviously a reason for that, and it was so we wouldn’t compare stories. Long story short 3 out of 5 of us are having a girl and a boy twin and traveling to California or Florida and are also kind people although we have a lot of negativity around us. The other 2 had the exact same story as well. Pretty much this rip off was reading off a script. At the end you got to ask 2 questions so one of mine was “is my horse going to be ok” ( i don’t have a horse) and she answered yes ur horse has had some problems but it will be ok. Hahaha What a waste of money! Also her whole family was in the room talking while the 2 min session (she initially told us it would be 10 to 30 min a session) It was so awful that we talked and laughed about it the whole trip, that was the only thing that made it worth it. It was such a joke!!!!

I very recently had a phone reading with Katie and had a wonderful experience! I’ve been having some life changes that I really could use some outside clarity on and admittedly I was a little nervous, but she put me right at ease. Her reading was very thorough and insightful. Any questions I had surrounding what I was trying to gain some insight into she was very happy to go into deeper details and I never felt like I was asking too many questions. I really love how she used more than just a traditional deck and included oracle cards and other additions, as well. It made for a really well-rounded reading. She has great intuition and I appreciated that she sent me photos of the cards so I could really reflect on them after the reading. I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to get another reading with her. Highly recommend!

Katie was phenomenal! I’ve never had my tarot read before and was completely mind blown with the precision of the reading…. Mind you it was done over the phone and far exceeded my expectations! I still have goosebumps of the accuracy of each card. I highly recommend The Emerald Eye for all your readings. I’ll definitely be scheduling with Katie more often. Forever a tarot fan.

I went into the shop just browsing not really knowing what I was looking for but the young lady with curly hair was very kind and helpful. I have a bad memory and forgot her name sorry. So many beautiful crystals, I definitely recommend and I will definitely be back!

Great energy, very welcoming place. Enough space to spread out and really take your time looking at all of the beautiful things without feeling rushed or crammed. There is something for everyone – stones, jewellery, clothes, incense, and even an area to mix your own herbs for teas, tinctures, cough syrups, etc. I would definitely recommend. Kitten was very attentive, too.

My favorite metaphysical Shop. I hate that I’ve moved further away so I don’t shop here as much as I like. When I lived in Nashville I would go out of my way to come here even though there are a couple stores like this nearby. It’s pretty big compared to some of the ones I’ve been in and has a lot more stock and variety. I can stay in this store for hours! Also, Shiva is so adorable! I always look forward to seeing and petting her when I come in. I think I would come in just to see her haha

They have lots of beautiful stones and jewelry. They also have a large selection of tarot cards and a small wall of herbs. They also have spiritual events like tarot readings but I have never been to any of those. The staff has been really nice to me every time I go in. The also have an adorable shop kitty

Love this store. Its very clean and well stocked and has friendly staff. They have a wonderful selection of books. Also nice selection of jewelry, tarot cards and candles. This was my second time at this store.I went today on the 4th of July, not sure if they would be open since it’s a holiday. They were open and there weren’t any customers there so I was able to browse as long as I wanted. Also the woman working there was super nice and wasn’t pushy or overbearing like some salespeople are. Also the black cat at the store was cute and its always nice to see animals in shops. I will definitely be back the next time I am in the Nashville area.
