So today marks two years since the day I first saw Angela. I genuinely can’t believe that amount of time has passed. When I look back to who I was back then, that version of me truly feels so very far away, but I’m grateful to her for feeling lost the way she did, for needing answers to some questions, because she’s the one that sought Angela, that needed that first reading, and that has become who I am now and gotten to where I’m at here.Regardless of whether I continue to receive services from Angela or not, the change she brought into my life is timeless and immeasurable. I’ve had multiple readings with Angela last year.  She was spot on accurate on things going on in my life. I found Angela through a friend’s suggestion. Our session was great. She sent over guidelines leading up to the session in order for me to be as prepared as possible. My two girlfriends and I had such a wonderful Zoom reading with Angela the other day that I had to stop by and leave a comment. I didn’t know what to expect from my first psychic reading (especially since we found Angela through a simple Google search and not a personal recommendation) but what happened in the session definitely exceeded any of my secret hopes. I decided to focus my reading on questions about family members both living and deceased and the information Angela provided for me simply based on names and ages was truly astounding. She was absolutely spot-on accurate with about 90-95% of what she said. (And, who knows? Maybe the rest was accurate as well! Maybe it’s simply my perception that has me thinking her statements were off) I, naturally, had some doubt about her ability to connect with deceased family members but I am 100% convinced that she did. She knew things she couldn’t have. Specific things. It was such a surprise to me that I was somewhat dumfounded and suddenly couldn’t even think of what to say. Afterward, of course, there were so many things I wish I had said and asked about so I’m pretty sure I will be rebooking in the future. Updating to say, upon further review, I do think Angela did manage to get some things right. I will generally say that psychics are more accurate when talking about the present, and not the future, which is more fair, and she was more on-point when talking about the present, so she def. has some sort of gift, but the future is hard to predict.

Walked by this place on the way to my lunch spot and noticed a woman leaving her session in aawe of her emotions. Left me thinking, maybe that was a really good reading. After my lunch i went ahead and tried her out – there was a 15 minute wait as there were a few girls before me. I worked with Julie and i decided to go with a Tarot Card reading. She picked up on a few things without being prompted which was very interesting and told me alot about myself of which i can work on, balancing my shakras. She also said she was a medium as well which I am always interested in connecting with good ones. The only thing i didnt like was that she offered another service after my reading for my healing that was $200 and i had a friend waiting outside but i felt like she was a bit much with that approach. I am debating on seeing her again but she definitely gave some good and interesting insights that were true.

Roxanne told me some things a few years ago, that I really should have listened to. Would have avoided my killer college roommate, had I listened to her, and moved to pursue my dance career.

I went for a love and relationship reading last night. I’d been to psychics in the past, but wasn’t expecting much. From the second I walked in, I felt so comfortable with her. I’m not sure why. I made a point to make sure that I didn’t give anything away in my face, and idk how, but she picked up on some trauma right away and was very specific in her reading of me. I was floored. She said something else, very specifically relating to something I’d experienced within the past year, and I started crying. It was an incredibly emotional experience for me and really allowed me to break through on a few things that had been causing me so much pain.I’ll absolutely be going back for a spiritual cleansing. Very moving experience for me and I urge others who may have an ounce of skepticism to visit and see for yourselves.

What a joke don’t waste your money. While visiting Philadelphia with five of my friends we ran into this place. We asked how much it would be for a reading and we were told $25.00. The first person went upstairs to sit in someone’s kitchen while his hand was read. Two minutes later he came downstairs and said don’t waste your money. I’ve had several readings before and have done some myself so I decided to go upstairs thinking it couldn’t be that bad based off th Yelp reviews. I was greeted at the door and brought into a kitchen, no big deal, then I was given a different price list than previously given. I took the Tarot reading which was $50.00. She asked me to make two wishes, to tell her one and keep one to myself. She placed the cards on the table and was not using a full deck of cards. They were only the major cards but NOT all of them. As she started to tell me what was in the cards I could hardly hear her over the conversation going on in the living room by two other individuals that seamed to live in this apartment with her. She didn’t ask me what my question was, told me the same thing as my previous friend and asked me if I had any questions. There was a knock at the door and she told me she had an appointment that was there (again I was there less than five minutes). In response to her question I said you didn’t ask me what my wish was. She said what is your wish. I said will I be able to communicate with my parents in the future. She said yes, they will call on you in three months. Um, my parents are dead. $50.00 for less than five minutes and was told the same thing as my friend. If I could give her zero starts I would but it’s not an option here. I’m only writing this review so she doesn’t rip anyone else off that might be reading these reviews prior to going here.

Roxanne is absolutely amazing. Palm readings are $25 and I felt like I got what I paid for and more. She was so accurate and so gentle and sweet. I felt so comfortable with her. I went with two other friends and all of ours were accurate. I highly recommend and will be taking my other friends back.

This wasn’t an ordinary reading because for starters 2 things happened within a months time that Roxanne predicted. 1. Predicted a promotion. She said she sees me moving around at my job. I thought she was picking up a move i made in February but there was to me another move which happened a week after the reading.2. Roxanne spoke on someone who I lost touch with reaching out to me. When she said that I couldn’t think of anyone. And bam outta the blue a friend who I ended a friendship was reaching out. I haven’t spoken to them in years. I was really floored by her reading. I never had a reading and it came true quickly after.

I have done an in-person tarot reading and a psychic reading over the phone with Roxanne, and she was very on point each time. She let me ask questions as she was providing information. She didn’t sugarcoat things and seemed to keep it real. I will definitely be seeing her for future readings as well.

They are not like other places. They actually tell you all that you already know. I don’t think they are legit. I went in for a reading one day in the past week. They told me that all my valuables are cursing my spiritual being. They suggest that I bring them in and they will bury it to get rid of my bad luck. Really? Burn all my gold and silver? I don’t know about this theory. I work so hard to get these things. How can I just let them bury my Rolex because I didn’t win at Sugarhouse casino.

I’m actually very surprised by the good reviews which led me to see Roxanne.  My reading was between 5 and 10 minutes and she stated nothing at all that indicated she knew anything about me.  That’s ok, but what disappointed me most was that she spent the majority of my brief visit telling me I should spend $200 for a spiritual cleansing.  I read about other bogus psychics who just try to get more money out of you and that’s exactly what this one did.  It’s not like she suggested that after giving me any type of insight, in fact most of what she said was ridiculously vague and reeked of bs.

So me and my friend were walking down south street the other night and saw a palm reading and decided to try it. Well I’m glad we did because it was fun kinda emotional for me because she knew exactly what was going on. I want to come back to talk more soon! Id recommend definitely to anyone. I have been seeing Lena for awhile now. She always provides good insight and advice. Though this is her bread and butter, she is not strictly money minded.Last spring I did first part of a chakra cleanse with her, and it was really changed my life. Her tarot readings are on point, she is sweet, kind hearted, and a very talented psychic. This is no touristy parlour trick business. It is the real deal. Personally I think she is the best psychic in Philly.

Vivian gave me a bunch of generic nonsense that did not apply to me at all and basically used the whole session to pitch an additional $300 chakra unblocking service. Not sure her name is really Vivian bc it’s the same person that people in other reviews referred to as young lena. You can’t bullshit a bullshitter and this place is bullshit. I do believe in clairvoyance and have heard of good experiences with real psychics but this lady is just a scam artist. would give 0 stars if i could.

A friend and I went to lena, reading the reviews I assume it was the daughter of the duo people are talking about. I personally felt like I had a good and insane experience. While she did tell me to no worry too much she did tell me other things that have been coming up in my life a lot. She told me things that I felt pushed me more to follow in my life. I don’t know how my life will go according to this reading but hearing what Lena had to say was definitely worth the money I spent ( which isn’t much considering other prices for other palm readings.) I hope to goodness what she said rings true for me a little more down the line but I recommend this place. She had good energy and was very sweet. Give it a try

In seeing these reviews, I’m fairly certain that ‘Mrs. Lena’ also has her daughter doing readings here as well, who happens to be named Lena too. The woman that we had was much younger than what was described in other reviews. It was $10 for a single hand palm reading, and $20 for two. Her credit card machine was not working this day, so it was cash only. With this experience, I was hard pressed to find that it was worth any money at all.   The experience felt very generic and like total cold reading. She frequently said the phrase “no offense, but…” and made general statements about needing to “feel into your heart more, and over think less” and that “your relationship right now is complicated.”Friend was offered a $300 candle to help cleanse him.

$500 & four 25 minute long sessions later, all I’d received was 3 candles and a request for another half a grand. As someone who truly values, respects & deeply appreciates those who genuinely help in the healing of others, I beg you to search elsewhere.

Went in with my mom as they accept walk ins and we happened upon it surreptitiously. I wanted us to both have readings with Mrs. Lena, but was told there were scheduled appointments so we would have to have tandem appointments with her and her daughter. My mom went with Mrs. Lena into the room, and I with her daughter in the reception hallway. My mom’s experience was great; she hit on everything and brought up aspects of my mom’s life that she hadn’t expected or alluded to. Brought up my father, his part surgery, both my brothers, me, my father’s family, etc.  The experience I had couldn’t have been more different. While she was a nice girl, she did not hit on anything at all, stayed very generic, kept saying “no offense, but…” to things that wouldn’t have been offensive, and tried to sell me into a $350 stone and aura cleansing.  I told her I wanted to think about it, as I really do hate shutting people down – but she kept pushing, and asking what my gut was telling me. So I did: I told her my gut was saying no. To which I was told I need to open up more and allow for personal healing. I’m glad my mom had a great experience, and wish I could have had a similar one.

He said that the shop had changed hands several times over the years, but that it was still there. I asked him to take me to the shop. The shop, bearing a sign that read Psychic Readings by Lena (this name is also on her biz card, along with the phone # listed on this Yelp listing), turned out to be located in the front basement apartment at 2041 Walnut, and it was open, and the reader was available.Lena turned out to be a friendly olive-skinned woman in her 40s or early 50s, and she told me that she’d worked out of the shop for about 23 years. I paid her for a full tarot deck reading plus a palm reading. I did as I always do when getting a reading from a “new” psychic, and told her, prior to the start of the reading, only my first name, date/place of birth, and the fact that I lived in MD and was visiting Philly. I told her nothing else about myself until the reading had ended.Lena’s reading turned out to be very accurate. She almost instantly pegged me as a mystic and spiritual healer/guide, and reported accurately that I am sent frequently by God/Source to visit various cities on spiritual trips. She even correctly reported and named a West Coast city that I would be visiting a week later for a spiritual trip.She also reported many accurate and specific pieces of information about my childhood and about my mother and some of her challenges, and did it with compassion and understanding. On the other hand, like many psychics, she reported that I had three adult children. This was, of  course, not true; I have never had any children. That was about the only significant incorrect thing that Lena reported; almost everything else that she reported, and in detail, was quite accurate. These were all specific details that could never have been guessed in a million years.Lena tried one attempt at an upsell with me. It was quite clear and direct, and polite, and not at all overbearing: she told me that I sometimes pick up negative energies due to my spiritual healing work, and she said that she wanted to clear them ( for an extra fee). I politely and firmly declined, telling her that I wasn’t interested in any additional services.So, a very good reading, and we ended up having a very good chat after the reading had ended!A spooky postscript: Lena had predicted that a relative, such as a nephew, was expecting a baby. Due to the realities of my family (extremely few nieces/nephews, and our psycho family tends to never reproduce as a kindness to humanity), I knew that this was extremely unlikely, and dismissed the prediction as wrong. 5 weeks later, my sister called to tell me that my only nephew and his wife were expecting their first child. Lena had also predicted that a relative such as a nephew/niece was facing a medical problem, but that it would turn out fine. During the same call from my sister, I learned that my nephew had recently had a significant medical challenge that had worked out okay. Not a bad record at all!Quick update @ 6/23/2017: Visited shop for a reading w/Lena. She mentioned that her daughter, in her 20s, now also sometimes does readings at the shop.

I was extremely disappointed by the reading I received from Mrs. Lena. I paid $20 for two palms to be read. She barely looked at my palms (and did not refer to specific lines once!) and she finished my reading in about 5 minutes- as soon as she realized I wasn’t paying more for my chakras to be cleansed. She was extremely vague and fished for information about my job, school, and romantic life. She also seemed unsure of what she was saying- including a lot of verbal qualifiers and “no offense, but…” and then would say something broad and  shallow like “you sometimes worry too much” or “you sometimes feel insecure”. She seemed uninterested as soon as she realized I was only visiting Philly and wasn’t paying further. What phenomenally wasted money.

I took my friend here for her birthday and she absolutely loved it! The lady was very kind, sweet and was great! I personally didn’t get a reading but my two friends that did want to go back ! I’m not sure I if I remember the prices but I Definitely know it’s $10- per palm. So if you’re looking for that movie psychic with the fog, and dark lights etc. That’s not what you will get. But she apparently does amazing readings so it depends on what you’re looking for.

I actually really liked Ms. Lena.  My friend and I walked in and were greeted by her.  She’s very friendly and my reading was very engaging.  Regardless whether or not she’s “legit” the experience helped me learn more about myself and my wants.  I highly recommend her if you want a quick reading.  She’s worth her price as well which was nice to see.

I saw she had great reviews on google so I decided to give it a try. Her space was so warm and friendly I felt good vibes right away, candles everywhere! Lots of books and crystals it was set up very professionally. Christine was a very sweet lady she went over all the readings and suggested what options she thought were best for me then invited me into a little room and asked me to shuffle the cards. The reading was very accurate from start to finish some of the things she said I never told anyone about HOW DOES SHE KNOW THESE THINGS! I was blown away with the details. After she read me like a book she offered an aura cleansing I didn’t know it was part of the reading. She went over some mantra with me ,cleaned  my vibes with a bunch of different herbs  , sprays a bunch of different aromas on me and next thing I herd were some  bells and rattles as she prayed and I repeated and it was like so much heaviness was lifting off of me I left feeling like I was walking on air ! I think this has got to be the best psychic in Philadelphia. She gave me some candles to use as well. This is a good vibes only Psychic.

I do the online membership with Christine and it is great! She is constantly offering guidance/advice that I can go back and view at any time. Some of her meditations I always go back to.
